Pope Leo spotted wearing White Sox hat during his weekly appearance

(CNN) – It was a scene straight out of baseball heaven.
On Wednesday, Pope Leo was spotted wearing a Chicago White Sox hat during his weekly appearance at Saint Peter’s Square.
He was taking a picture with a newly married couple at the time.
The pontiff is a known White Sox fan.
When he was announced as pope, his brother revealed the Chicago native s the White Sox over the Cubs.
